RACISM

Racism is one of the most important social issues of the modern world. It has affected millions of people worldwide, and one of the deepest social problems in history. There are many imagination and speculations arrive once the word racism is heard. Considering major issues in the world today, probably the word racism tops among the list. It is a worldwide issue that exist all of the continents and countries in different forms. This worldwide issue has caused countless problems so it is imperative that we need to analyze this severe adversity that we are facing.

A dominant and dominated group, who are fighting over social rights, are largely found in Racism. To be criticized for our skin color is demeaning, demoralizing and it should not be tolerated in any place. This deep rooted pain can severely damage one’s humanity and is not something that easily emphatize. That is why the use of racist words towards black, brown community needs to end. Racism can happen to anyone. No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black to some continents in the world is tough especially in America.

From a discrimination standpoint, This is an issue that I am saddened. With everything that continues to go on in the world, regarding race and equality but we must speak about it.  All the racist remark that are throwed to black people is not something new to them. They strived for their values and worth to be seen through their workethic. Most of the people undermine their value and capabilities. These issues are unfortunately still very real for us in our society, but should not be allowed. Fil-American, Fil-Foreigner or local Filipinos , We are one. There should be no tolerance on hate and bigotry.

Those harsh criticism remarks that are not suited for work comments don’t define us as people. What I can only hope from this is we need to realize the power of our words and we can come together to put an end to hate and discrimination. The problems, violence and the racial divide definitely is not new, but the sense of urgency for change is definitely at an all-time high. The racial profiling has to stop. Not seeing the value of black bodies has to stop. Sometimes racism can develop among people of different race because of the lack of knowledge about the other race, culture, belief and history.

In a nutshell, criticism for the different traditions and traits has to stop and as I have said it should not be tolerated no matter who we are and where we are. We need to appreciate and stop the hate, Enough is enough. Let us educate ourselves, explore these issues, speak up and use our influence and  renounce all violence. Most importantly we all have to do better. Racism is only going to end if an increasing number of white people take a role in bringing it down. I believe racism should end because if it continues, it can split unity of races. It may also lead to more violence within the countries. Racism should be stopped because no race is superior to any other race. All races have equal opportunities as other races.
